Blaise Philippe Chaumont is specialised in tax and corporate law. He works for corporations, private clients and investment funds, in both advice and litigation, specifically in real estate and in the context of international transactions.
As a former senior civil servant and banker, he has developed throughout his career recognised expertise in international and real estate tax law, as well as a broad expert legal and financial skills that allow him to fully understand all the aspects of a case.
Blaise Philippe Chaumont has held various top level positions within the Economy and Finance minister’s private office and in the tax administration. He served as tax policy advisor to Mrs. Christine Lagarde and Mr. Eric Woerth, as deputy chief of staff to Mr. François Baroin and as chief of staff to Mrs. Valérie Pécresse. Blaise-Philippe Chaumont also worked as a banker in London at the EBRD (European Bank for Reconstruction and Development).
Before founding Aristide Law, Blaise-Philippe Chaumont was a partner of a leading French law firm for 5 years.
Blaise Philippe Chaumont graduated from Sciences Po (Institut d’Etudes Politiques de Paris, 1994), is a former student of the Ecole Nationale d’Administration (National School of Administration, 1999) and holds a Master’s degree (DESS-DJCE) in Business Law from Cergy University.
He is a member of the International Fiscal Association and the Fench tax counsels association.
